Opti Green Fleet
Ages 10 - 13
This class is designed as a first racing experience for a young sailor. It introduces racing in a low intensity environment that is both fun and which will prepare sailors for the racing program. The class is separate from the Opti Race class but will meet with them. The Opti Green class will introduce racing in a safe learning environment.
We have added a FLEX 7 of 8 weeks option at a lower price to allow families to skip the week of their choice for a family vacation.
We also have 4-week options to accommodate those with limited time availability. Class sizes remains the same so these options are only available if there are openings in the class. Choose weeks 1-4 or 5-8. Registration for the 4-week programs opens on February 15th. The 8-week program remains the preferred option.
Dates: June 26 - August 18 (eight-week session)
June 26-July 21 (weeks1-4)
July 24-August 18 (weeks 5-8)
Times: Tuesday-Thursday-Friday
9.00 am - 4.00 pm.
Cost: $1350 for 8-week program (96 hours)
$1200 for FLEX 7 of 8-week program
$850 for a 4-week program (48 hours)

- Some sailors may be invited to join the Opti Race class during the season if they are ready.
- Sailors will have the opportunity to participate in NBYA regattas.
- The course will run 3 days/week for 8 weeks.
