Summer Sailing Program 2026

Wickford Sailing Association offers 9 exciting options for young sailors of all abilities. Adults, too! Through hands-on experience and class instruction, we hope to produce well-rounded sailors who are at home aboard a sailing dinghy, a cruising sailboat, or a racing boat. Above all, our goal is to have our students safely enjoy their time on the water.

The Wickford Sailing Association administers a scholarship program for young sailors interested in our classes but who’s families may find it a financial burden. See Policies & FAQs for more information.

Class Schedule

REGISTRATION OPENS ON FEBRUARY 6th

The Summer Sailing Program will begin on Monday, June 22 and continue through August 14. Classes are held all day from 9 am until 4 pm. Minnows sessions are half day.

Classes will include sessions for Minnows, Beginners, Beginner Plus, Intermediates, Opti Green Fleet, Opti Racers and 420. There is also an Adult session.

VIEW CLASSES

Get ready for summer and support WSA with WSA sailing gear and clothing. All sales are a direct purchase between the buyer and Elmwood Sports. WSA does not stock any merchandise, but every sale supports WSA. We have a wide selection of selection of shirts, sweatshirts, hats and quarter-zips ready for you to buy. Our online store is open year-round.

A percent of the proceeds directly support the Wickford Sailing Association programs.
